Ta da! Harley came home with second prize, Elliot got a marriage proposal from the cutest little ninja turtle ever, and Parker soaked through her lion costume while we were out trick or treating! Three cheers for Halloween! See ya next year, cardboard and duct tape!
Hoag Family
Allow me to share a few candid stories of our journey as a family of five, mostly written from the depths of sleep exhaustion. :) Embrace the chaos, people!

I wish...
My favorite game to play with the kids in the car is "I wish". Anything goes, and it never fails to bring us smiles.
Some of my favorites from recent trips:
"I wish our truck could fly"-H
"I wish I had a bunny"-E
"I wish I could have a dirt bike"-H
"I wish the moon was a giant cupcake"-E
And today the girls are both at daycare and Harley and I were on the way to the Dr. HW: Halloween is the best
Me: Do you wish every day was Halloween?
(Long Pause)
HW: I wish every month was October and I wish every tree was a willow tree big enough for climbing.
For some reason that made me emotional, probably because everything does. I have the best memories of climbing a big willow tree with a book and sitting up there for hours, and I've always wanted my kiddos to have sweet, simple memories like that. I just love that today instead of wishing for candy, video games, or toys, he just wants a good climbing tree.
